Attorney James Lowry has practiced since 1966, primarily in the areas of personal injury, family law and criminal law.  In his early career he served as the Prosecuting Attorney of Rush County, Indiana, and since establishing a practice in Danville, Indiana, has had extensive experience representing personal injury victims and individuals.  In his years of practice, he has represented brain injured individuals, wrongful death cases and multiple serious and catastrophic injuries.  Mr. Lowry is admitted to practice in all Indiana State Courts, as well as the Indiana Court of Appeals.  Attorney Lowry in addition is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit.

Indiana attorney James Lowry is a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and served as Treasurer of the Indiana State Bar Association, as well as a member of the Board of Managers for the Indiana State Bar Association.  His career is highlighted with verdicts and settlements obtained on behalf of Indiana citizens who have been seriously injured through the negligence of others.

While attending law school, Attorney Lowry served as Law Clerk in the Attorney General State of Indiana and to Joseph Carson, Judge, Indiana Court of Appeals.

Memberships and Affiliations
Attorney Lowry served as Chairman for the Hendricks County United Way Campaign, President of the Hendricks County Bar Association, Board of Trustees of the Crossroads Church.  He has also been a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, Hendricks County Bar Association and served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. James Lowry was also a member of the Indiana National Guard.

Litigation
Attorney James Lowry throughout his career has been active in trial practice, particularly in areas involving personal injury, family law, and criminal law. James Lowry has spent the major part of his career obtaining compensation for individuals who have been injured by the wrongful or negligent acts of others.  He has also active in the area of family law representing individuals in divorce proceedings, custody actions and support matters.  James Lowry has also successfully prosecuted and defended individuals charged with crimes and was a Prosecuting Attorney for Rush County, Indiana, during which time he prosecuted several major felony cases including two high profile murders.
